Along with consistent blood pressure monitoring, we will teach you how to pursue a hearthealthy diet and reduce your intake of sodium from table salt and processed foods. It is also important to have an exercise plan that includes 40 minutes of moderate intensity exercise, three to four times per week. Finally, we will work with you to monitor other risk factors, like stress management, smoking and alcohol consumption.
